Changes to our Terms and Conditions

We have updated our Terms and Conditions effective from 4 November 2005 in order to adopt two new Australian Communications Industry Forum (ACIF) Consumer Codes. The two new ACIF codes govern the way telecommunications companies deal with consumer contracts and customer information on prices, terms and conditions. The ACIF Industry Codes can be viewed and downloaded at http://www.acif.org.au/documents_and_lists/code

The changes to our Terms and Conditions do not affect the way we deliver our services or how we charge you for them. The changes have been made to reflect our ongoing commitment to provide clear information and fair terms and conditions to all of our customers. Our revised Terms and Conditions now also include a Schedule of Charges that cover matters such as dishonoured cheques, direct debit transactions, refunds and credits, interest on outstanding balances, administration fees and connection fees.

When you signed on as a customer with us, we gave you a summary of our Terms and Conditions. The updated Summary and the complete document (known as our Standard Form of Agreement) are available on our web site: www.ballaratce.com.au.
